OUTREACH

CONNECTING WITH SENIORS

Ways to serve:

1) On Sundays from 9:00-10:30 am, come join our volunteers in providing an on-site Church Service at Vista Roseville Assisted Living facility from 9:00-10:30 am…still allowing enough time to make the 11:00 am HighRidge Sunday service.

2) During the week, volunteers may drop by for a leisurely visit or participate in various planned activities, i.e., Happy Hour Thursday; Milkshake Monday…you can bring your kids, grandkids, or well-behaved pets. Residents come alive when they get visitors…make a difference and let them know they are not forgotten.

COATS FOR CHILI

Providing coats for those in need by hosting a “Coats for Chili” night at your home’s driveway, whereby you invite your neighbors to drop off a new or gently used coat in exchange for a bowl of chili. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbors while making a difference to those in
need. This outreach is seasonal and usually held between the months of November through March.

HELPING HANDS

The purpose of this ministry is to help those “in need”, primarily within the HighRidge Church body. However, volunteers may also assist those outside of HighRidge if a need arises that we are made aware of. Volunteers are able to assist those in need of minor household repairs.

ADOPT A MEAL

If you have the heart to serve, volunteers can sign up to help prepare an evening in a local homeless shelter. Volunteers are needed on a scheduled Saturday from 3:30-7:00 pm at the Auburn Gathering Inn. Help make a difference by feeding the hungry.

2026 Dates:

Saturday, March 24

Saturday, June 13

Saturday, Sept 14

Saturday Nov 14

BLESSING BAGS

Volunteers meet monthly to assemble blessing bags with essential items for our homeless community. Bags are assembled at 8 am on the 4th Sunday of every month at HighRidge…usually takes less than 30 minutes. Bags are then passed out to anyone who has a heart to offer a bag to a homeless person on the street.

OUTREACH PARTNERS

JESSUP UNIVERSITY

Our World is Desperate for Christ-glorifying Leaders

We believe today’s student should have access to an exceptional academic experience that enriches the spirit of tomorrow’s leader. The Jessup Fund enables student accessibility, academic excellence in the classroom and a vibrant campus life that promotes Christ-likeness in character and relationship.

In partnership with the Church, Jessup is training and equipping thriving leaders for service in ministry, education, government, business, science, and the arts. The genesis of our students’ cultural influence starts here.

Make a Christ-Centered Higher Education possible by supporting Jessup’s student affordability initiatives.

We partner with IDI and their Bricks of Hope program to build homes for families. They are building resilient communities in the heart of Malawi and their Bricks of Hope program is dedicated to rebuilding lives after natural disasters.

They construct safe and sustainable homes, offering a foundation for families to rebuild and thrive. Through resilient architecture and community engagement, they strive to provide not just shelter, but the promise of a brighter future.

CITY PASTORS

Bringing a Beautifully Diverse Community Together

City Pastors Fellowship is a gathering of lead/senior pastors in the Sacramento Region with the simple goal of building relationships.

We come together as a group of Christian pastors to see this vision from scripture fulfilled: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.” – Romans 15:5

We exist to see a thriving church in every community, reaching people with the message of Jesus.

We are a cooperative of independent churches from different denominations, networks, and backgrounds who strategically resource church planters and pastors to help them reach people with the message of Jesus.

Samaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse brings physical relief and the hope of the Gospel to hurting people around the world.

Our staff, volunteers, partner churches, and fleet of trucks enable swift responses to help clean up after tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and other natural disasters in the United States.

When you give to Samaritan's Purse, you allow us to respond quickly to meet critical needs in Jesus' Name. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

REACH, RESCUE, RESTORE

Because the problem looks different everywhere we work, so do we. Our programs are designed to work together, but can also stand alone–filling critical gaps in the countries and communities we work in.

3BUILDGLOBAL

Our aim at 3BuildGlobal is to take the resources and talents of those who are willing to impact the leadership, infrastructure and communities in the developing world.

3BuildGlobal has three strategic focuses: assisting third world communities with crisis relief, leadership training and development, and building infrastructures from homes, schools, orphanages to churches.

Through each focus, we empower communities with the finances and resources they need to overcome extreme poverty and reach people in their country for Jesus.
